چکیده
In rotaxane 1, two co-conformations are populated in CDCl(3) at temperatures between 250 and 330 K. The thermodynamic parameters show strong enthalpy-entropy compensation, and a non-negligible heat capacity difference between the two forms.

Conductivity Coefficient Modeling in Degenerate and Non-Degenerate Modes on GNSs
Carbon nanoscrolls (CNSs) with tubular structure similar to the open multiwall carbonnanotube have been of hot debate during recent years. Due to its unique property, Graphene Nanoscroll (GNS) have attracted many research groups’ attention and have been used by them. They specially studied on energy storage devices such as batteries and super capacitors. These devices can be schematically...
متن کاملPerturbation Calculations of the Interaction Energies between Non-Bonded Hydrogen Atoms
In the previous paper 1 (hereafter referred to as I) the non-bonded interaction energies between the rigid fragments AH and BH were examined in some detail. Particular attention was given to the analysis of the various contributions to the interaction eneregy in the region of large non-bonded overlap.f In those calculations the position of the fragments with respect to one another was varied, k...
متن کاملNucleotide Dependent Switching in Rho GTPase: Conformational Heterogeneity and Competing Molecular Interactions
Ras superfamily of GTPases regulate myriad cellular processes through a conserved nucleotide (GTP/GDP) dependent switching mechanism. Unlike Ras family of GTPases, for the Rho GTPases, there is no clear evidence for the existence of "sub-states" such as state 1 &state 2 in the GTP bound form. To explore the nucleotide dependent conformational space of the Switch I loop and also to look for exis...
متن کاملPhotoinduction of fast, reversible translational motion in a hydrogen-bonded molecular shuttle.
A rotaxane is described in which a macrocycle moves reversibly between two hydrogen-bonding stations after a nanosecond laser pulse. Observation of transient changes in the optical absorption spectrum after photoexcitation allows direct quantitative monitoring of the submolecular translational process. The rate of shuttling was determined and the influence of the surrounding medium was studied:...
متن کاملRationalizing the Strength of Hydrogen-Bonded of Molybdate-Phosphonic acid Complex (1:2): Density Functional Theory Studies
The relative stability of hydrogen-bonded of Molybdate-Phosphonic Acid (MPA) complex (1:2) ingas phase has been carried out using Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods. The methods are usedfor calculations are B3LYP, BP86 and B3PW91 that have been studied in two series of basis sets: D95**and 6-31+G(d,p) for hydrogen and oxygen atoms; LANL2DZ for Mo and Phosphorus. Predictedhydrogen-bond geom...
